John Salmon
President
John Salmon uses over 10 years of direct marketing experience and Internet marketing technology to help his clients implement and deploy successful postal and e-mail campaigns. Prior to forming Media Source Solutions, John was a Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Equifax and was a partner at several small start-up direct marketing companies. From these experiences, John knows how to compete with the big player and how to cultivate and grow a small company using specialized customer focused, cutting-edge marketing techniques. He originated the concept of marketing to the DINK (Double Income No Kids) segment and has used other innovative approaches to find markets for vertical mailers.
John is proud to be a Desert Storm Veteran from the first Gulf War. He served 4 years in the Air Force. He is a graduate of Saint Martin’s College with a degree in Accounting. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and takes full advantage of the opportunities that come from living in beautiful south Florida.
Michele Volpe
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Michele Volpe began her career in direct marketing at Millard Group. While working in Millard Group’s List Brokerage Division, she oversaw and implemented mail plans, universe analyses, list recommendations and new magazine launches for Rodale Press, T4Media, Kalmbach Publishing, EGW Publishing, Briefings Publishing Group and Orion Development Group. She also worked closely with mailers to help them develop their creative for their direct mail pieces/offers. Most recently, Michele worked for Byrum & Fleming as a list manager/list broker. Her directive was to pursue list acquisition and development in order to launch their Consumer mailing and E-mail marketing divisions. Through Michele’s leadership, Byrum & Fleming’s Consumer and Email list management grew and came to rival many of their larger competitors in the direct mail industry. With her background as a list broker, Michele also established Byrum & Fleming’s list brokerage division.
Michele and her husband and daughter recently relocated to beautiful South Florida. She likes to write, travel, go to the beach with her family and collect seashells from around the world.
Amy Benicewicz
Vice President List Brokerage, Insert Media, Database Licensing
Since 1994, Amy has been providing direct marketing services to premier marketers such as Discover Card, Cigars International, Reader’s Digest and National Wildlife Federation. Amy has joined Media Source Solutions, where she will spearhead the new list brokerage, insert media and database licensing divisions. Previously, Amy was VP of The Catamount Group where she propelled the growth of the company’sinsert media divisions, and successfully introduced several premier nonprofit and catalog clients to insert media. Amy is an active member of the DMA, List & Database Council, Insert Media Council and Hudson Valley DMA. She gives back to the industry by contributing articles to premier marketing publications including Target Marketing, DM News and Direct Magazine, as well as speaking at the DMA Annual Catalog Conference.
